Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

We are so thankful for a generous church with a heart for reaching people locally, regionally, and around the world. Through our various ministries we support many missions causes and organizations such as Matthew 25 Ministries, Ida Spence, The Kentucky Children's Home, The Chelsea Ryann Festival of Hope, World Vision, and much more!

Each year our Women in Mission, Methodist Men, Children's Ministry and other ministries actively support, pray for, and give thousands of dollars to dozens of missions causes. If you're interested in learning more or being involved, look for the latest announcements in the Worship Guide for our latest supported cause, attend one of our Methodist Men or Women in Mission meetings, or contact the church office!

Two continual causes that the Church supports, both separate from EMC but connected through heritage and faith are:

United Christian Volunteers

UCV is a community help organization located in the Erlanger/Elsmere area providing a variety of assistance to those in need, including a food pantry, clothing closet, furniture and financial assistance. EMC collects canned goods to donate to the food pantry and many members volunteer their time to support this vital mission.

Contact UCV at 859-727-4417 or visit them at 15 Kenton Road, Elsmere, KY.

GRace Edgett
Development Center

In 1978, Erlanger Methodist Church introduced plans for expanding their educational facilities. The decision was made to provide a program that would expand the use of the building throughout the week. A child development center was planned as an outreach ministry of the church. The church approved this new ministry and after satisfying Kentucky’s regulations and requirements, the child development center was opened. The name chosen for the center was the Grace Edgett Child Development Center in memory of Grace Edgett. It was through her estate that the church was able to begin this ministry to children. GECDC is a non-profit organization providing exceptional care to kids and families at a price far more affordable than most Childcare Centers in the region, making it a truly exceptional ministry. Erlanger Methodist Church is committed to the ministry of GECDC and recognizes the center as a very important outreach effort for the church.
