I'm New

a Welcome from our Pastor:

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Whether you’ve been part of a church for years, you’re just beginning to explore faith, or you’re somewhere in between—you are welcome at Erlanger Methodist Church.

Our church has been rooted in this community since the 1880s, and while we cherish our history, we’re just as excited about what God is doing right now. We believe the church isn’t just a building—it’s people. People learning, serving, praying, and growing together. People discovering that God’s love is real, alive, and life-changing.

At EMC, you’ll find a blend of the traditional and the modern in worship, opportunities for prayer and Bible study that strengthen your faith, and ministries where you can serve, connect, and make a difference. From heartfelt worship to small groups, from service projects to children’s ministry, everything we do is about helping people encounter Jesus in a personal way.

Most of all, I want you to know this: you don’t have to have it all figured out to come. You don’t have to pretend to be someone you’re not. You are invited just as you are, and I believe God has a next step for you here. As Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). That’s the kind of abundant, transforming life we long for you to experience.

So come join us. Come worship. Come pray. Come connect with others who are on the same journey. Come discover the joy of walking with Jesus and the hope of a church family that’s ready to walk with you.
I look forward to meeting you soon.

With grace and joy,
Pastor Devin Kroner

Details to Know:

When and Where?

Sunday morning service is at 10:30 am weekly in our sanctuary at 31 Commonwealth Ave. in Erlanger (next to CVS!).

Kids start off in the main service with their family and are dismissed after the Kids Message, unless it is a special service.

After every service you are welcome to stick around to meet and visit and enjoy snacks, that are provided every week by various members of our church family and could be store bought, homemade, or both!

What should I wear?

Clothes! (Yes, we do recommend them 😄). Beyond that, there’s no dress code. Some folks show up in suits and ties, others in jeans and t-shirts. The “right” answer is whatever makes you comfortable.
Our services usually last about 90 minutes, and fair warning—some people say the room runs a little on the cool side. Feel free to bring a sweater… or even better, ask for one of our Lydia’s Workshop blankets. They’re lovingly handmade by ladies in our church, and if you take one home, we’ll just count it as us sending you off with a little extra love.

What To Expect

We hope most of all that you come expecting to encounter God! He's the reason we gather!

Outside of that, you can dress however you feel comfortable (just DO wear clothes!) and sit wherever you'd like in the sanctuary. You'll likely be invited to join someone when you visit, as we are a friendly bunch!

As a visitor, be sure you get one of our gift bags full of goodies and info for you (we have a kid-friendly version, too!), enjoy some coffee or a bottle of water, and pick up this weeks Worship Guide that includes our order of service, announcements, and usually the message notes for the days sermon. After that, make yourself at home. We have a wheelchair accessible bathroom at the back of the sanctuary (by the "FRONT" doors off Commonwealth) and designated mens and ladies restrooms behind the stage, off the foyer (where the coffee is located!)

Our services are a blend of traditional and modern, with classic hymns, special music, responsive elements like reciting The Lords Prayer, and engaging and challenging messages to help you connect to God and grow in faith. Communion is on the first week of every month (Except December, when it will be on Christmas Eve) and is open to all who wish to partake.
